Jennifer Nelson, M.Ed., is a Vermont-rostered psychotherapist and a master’s degree candidate in family therapy at Capella University. She has a master’s degree in education and has worked with children and families in educational settings for 20 years.

Jennifer uses a family systems therapy model, an approach that helps individuals and families understand how those relationships influence their personal and family well-being. When met with challenges in life, much can be learned through the exploration of relationships and how individuals and families interact with one another. Jennifer brings this perspective while working with clients of all ages in individual, couples, and family therapy.

Jennifer is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a LGBTQ ally, and a member of AAMFT Queer and Trans Advocacy Network.
